Manny Fernández, former Miami Dolphins defensive star and member of the undefeated 1972 Super Bowl team, has died at 79. The Dolphins confirmed the news Monday but did not announce a cause of death. Fernández spent his entire NFL career in Miami and helped the franchise win back to back Super Bowls while becoming one of the team’s most respected defensive players.
